Metal chassis makers see on-year growth in April revenues

Taiwan-based metal chassis makers Foxconn Technology, Catcher Technology and Waffer Technology have all announced on-year growth in their April 2011 revenues, while Foxconn and Catcher also reported to have seen on-month drops.
Foxconn Tech announced consolidated revenues of NT$11.1 billion (US$387.44 million) for April, up 9.17% on year, but down 29.52% on month. Although Foxconn has placed the responsibility for its on-month drop on seasonality, market watchers believe dropping notebook demand and declining sales of a client's game console were also drivers of revenue decline.
