Q: A friend told me that Cingular announced on the news that they are going to cut off 5,000 of their phones. Is this true? How can I found out what areas are being cut off?

A: I think your friend is scaring you a little - Cingular will stop using the TDMA technology in 2008. TDMA is an old technology, found in many phones in the 1990's. So, if you are still using a phone from 1996, you might need to investigate this.
