HTC Touch Diamond2 LED Battery Light Hotfix

If you have an HTC Touch Diamond2, you may have noticed the battery light doesn’t always turn green when it’s fully charged. Lucky for you, HTC has released an official hotfix for the likes of you Touch Diamond2 owners.

You can follow the steps here on HTC's website , since the hotfix is ready for you to download now.

Note: This hotfix only can be applied for ROM version between 1.36.XXX.X to 1.44.XXX.X and 1.66.XXX.X to 1.76.XXX.X

Installation instructions

Follow the instructions below to download and install the hotfix on your device:

Make sure you have Microsoft ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center using the USB cable. To download this hotfix select the hotfix below and the location closest to you then click Download . Copy the hotfix, which is an .exe file, to your device. To install the hotfix, tap the .exe file and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note: If you perform a device hard reset, you will need to reinstall the hotfix after the hard reset.

Q: I got the Sprint HTC Mogul smartphone.

I use it for the wifi and calander..but so far, I rarely use any of that because the battery goes dead so fast within half a day.

I've keep all my programs off and do a soft reset everyday.

I also been posting on all types of messages boards thats handheld oriented and none of the help works (got a new PPC6800 w/ new battery; hacked the phone with battery/performance hacks; bad service is what drains the battery; etc). Now I'm down to a few options.

Either trade it in for a new non smartphone for sprint or get an extended battery.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

A: get an extended battery. if u are over ur 30 days you cant trade in the phn. all pda's will have a small battery life due to all the applications it can run. also if you are in a poor coverage area where it has to search for signal then this will drain the battery life as well.
