Q: Ive done tons of research on the transition to hermes HTC and it seems less complicated time. (Edit registry entries??). If anyone can explain how to safely flash a new program / tweaks performance will be terrible.

A: Pretty much, all the research you have done is all there is to it. It may seem complicated, but to tell you the truth, if you dont feel confident about messing around with your phone, you shouldnt do it.

It would take me a really long time to sit here and type out all the steps involved in most hacks. Just follow the instructions from the forums.

Q: I have a Cingular 8525 that I recently broke and I need to get a few numbers that were saved onto the phone but not my sim card. The screen on the phone is broken, so I need a way to get numbers off of the phone using only my computer.

Connect the device to the computer with the USB cable. Run MyMobile123_05052008.exe from the PC. It will detect the device and show the screen remotely on the PC. You run the device with your PC mouse/keyboard.
