Q: I am currently on T-Mobile but I'm about to get an AT&T Tilt and need to get it unlocked before I could use it. If I go to an AT&T store will they unlock it for me, and if so, will I have to pay anything? If not, is there a way to unlock it myself?

A: You may be able to get it unlocked with AT&T, but they do charge you for it, you may want to contact TMobile to see if they can unlock the phone for you too, if you are going to use it on their service, they may be able to put in a request to get that done. But if you go to an AT&T store, they will charge about $30-$50.00. You can try ebay and buy one already unlocked, There are also other dealers that unlock any phone you want them to unlock but they are going to charge you too
