HTC Tilt 2 Windows Phone

I was so agog for this phone to be released for the Verizon network….now I ruefulness buying it! The phone hesitates when coming out of siesta craze to where I word for word have to recess 8-12 seconds for it to react to to keying a phone loads! It also has a disposition to “aspect dial” while I’m on the phone and about twice a day it randomly makes a call to a peculiar troop while I’m talking to someone.

I’ve had Samsung PDAs for years and should have never switched to the HTC. Regrets, regrets…

This phone sucks. I gave it another hazard, however, as I predicted, it’s not sufficient in an crisis. It only locks up for no evident act – the flexuous keys latch up. The map also is reclining to someone bloomer. Addition, there’s no temperately way to coin off bluetooth to use the tub-thumper phone. You’re stuck on the bluetooth earpeice, even if you poverty to use the address phone or the handset. So many things curious with this phone, that I’m not affluent to take the days.

My prototype criticism:

I have a Nokia e71x, Blackberry Brazen, and HTC Tilt 2.HTC is "coolest features" and a special welcome, but blueberry is * much * use the most....

Verizon sells out of HTC Touch Pro 2

Verizon launched the Windows Mobile phone Sept. 11, shortly after Sprint Nextel and and T-Mobile USA. A check of Verizon's website shows that the Touch Pro 2 is now out of stock. The action may have something do with the smartphone's price; Verizon offered the device for $199.99 with a two year-contract and after a $100 mail-in rebate, while both Sprint and T-Mobile are shopping the phone for $349.99.

By teaming up with three of the four Tier 1 carriers for the phone, HTC may be hoping to replicate the success it had in making the original Touch Pro a mass-market smartphone. Three of the four Tier 1 carriers--Sprint, Verizon and AT&T Mobility (as the HTC Fuze)--offered the original Touch Pro, first introduced in the fall last year. In the second quarter, the Touch Pro was among the country's top 10 best-selling smartphones , according to IDC.

The Touch Pro 2 has a 3.6-inch WVGA TouchFLO 3D display, a tilt-capable screen, a full keyboard and a 3.2-megapixel camera. It also supports GSM and CDMA bands, making it a world phone. The smartphone runs a customized version of Windows Mobile 6.1; customers will eventually be able to upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5 when it becomes available.

AT&T is coming out with their version of the Touch Pro 2 with Win Mobile 6.5 (and their version of the Touch Diamond 2, also with 6.5) on October 5th or 6th. The TP2 will be called Tilt 2 and the TD2, the Pure. At least that is what my source in the AT&T retail chain told me (except for the 6.5 part, which came from elsewhere). TP2 at $200 and the Pure at $150, both prices are with a 2 yr. contract.
