Samsung Galaxy S II is flexing its selling muscle on its home turf during the phone’s pre-order stage – and it is not shy to share the good news with the rest of the world. The popularity of the Galaxy S series can’t be denied; the latest pre-order numbers for the phone just further cemented that fact.

With more than 200,000 pre-orders registered within the first hour of its availability on three South Korean carriers – it surpassed the previous record holder Apple iPhone 4. The iPhone 4 managed to get around 110,000 preorder sales when it was launched back in August. However, it was only available for one carrier – the KT.

Samsung has big plans for the flagship phone, but it does so realistically. As reported, it aims to sell more than 10 million of the Galaxy S II in 2011. A bold target given that there’s only about 8 months left in the calendar. One the other hand, it’s not quite the astronomical high number that the original Galaxy S reached. With the company planning to make the phone available in 120 countries and 140 carriers in the coming weeks, getting there won’t be a walk in the park – but still doable.

A: if i remember rightly, this can be done in the settings from WM5 onwards.
WM 2003 had the blue background or a 'ripple'.
you can download themes and backgrounds for XDA's just as you can for the pc.
