That being said, it looks like every device can have its turn on the rumor train. Yes, we have reports of an upcoming update for the Windows Phone 7 running HTC Arrive and we have to say that we believe them. Granted, the rumor is rather bland, so maybe that is why we think they are accurate. Anyway, according to a recently surfaced (and rather blurry) screen capture — Sprint will be rolling out an update for the Arrive beginning on May 24th. And before anyone gets super excited, this is not Windows Phone 7.5 “Mango” but instead a security update. According to the details that we have seen up till this point, the update will bring the software version up to 1.29.651.02.

As to what the update should be fixing, an apparent issue with phony security certificates.

A: Yes the covers will fit the Virgin Mobile version, as for the color, as far as I know there are only the three color options which are blue, purple and red.
