T-mobile sidekick data plans, How do they work?

Q: I'm looking into the T-mobile family plans. Both my husband and I both would like a sidekick. Does the sidekick unlimited apply to us both since it is a family plan or do we have to pay for both the phones? Which in that case 70 dollars a month is a little crazy.

A: Currently T-mobile does not offer any family sidekick plans which isn't too great BUT T-mobile will be announcing Family Data Plans here in the next 3 months (3rd quarter of this year)

On a separate note if compared to other such plans from other companies (other multimedia phones i.e. Blackberry and Iphone) It's still cheaper.

24.99 per sidekick data plan ($50
19.99 Family messaging would be your best route to go incase you ever add a 3rd line this messaging bundle would carry on to the 3rd 4th and 5th lines.

If you have an iphone the price is $30 per phone plus 30 for family messaging.
If you decided to go with a comparable phone like the g1 for T-mobile it has the same data plans and messaging bundles. Also if you wait a little longer there is a 3g (high speed internet) sidekick coming out which will be much better.

ATT vs T-mobile pricing:
90 vs 70 (although it's hard to compare the different types of phones but I'm trying to compare data plans and messaging plans)
