Police handled two burglaries and a stolen car over the last 24 hours.

Burglary

On Wednesday morning, a burglary was reported at a home on Lloyd Road. According to police, the residents said that sometime between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m., someone entered their house. The sliding glass door to the kitchen and a side door on the north side of the house had both been left unlocked prior to the burglary and it is possible that the suspect got inside through one of these doors.

The victims reported that a 19-inch Sharp liquid crystal television, valued at $400, was taken from the counter top in the kitchen. A wallet containing $300 and a purse containing $80 were also taken from the kitchen. Two Sprint Blackberry Curve cellular phones, valued at $200 each, were taken from the kitchen counter. An Apple Macintosh 21.5 inch LED computer, valued at $2,000, was taken from an adjacent computer room.
