ASUS MyPal A639 is upgraded version of the model A636. The list of upgraded options includes increased volume of flash memory up to 1 GB (instead 128 MB in the model A636), interface Bluetooth 2.0 (instead of Bluetooth 1.2), as well as faster wireless network adapter that supports interface Wi-Fi (802.11 g).

The other characteristics of the new devices have remained unchanged: XScale 416 MHz processor, GPS-chipset SiRFstar III. Screen, that plays non-significant role for navigation, also remained the same (320 х240 points).
